  • We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express.

  • You’re allowed to operate e-bikes on side roads, bike paths, beach road shoulder or between the highways. Do not use the 4 lane Bypass Road. Always use traffic lights to cross the highway. Click here for a list of local bike paths. The Bike Barn is conveniently close to Nags Head Woods Road, a nice hard dirt path.

    RIDE SAFELY AND RESPONSIBLY

  • At low power level and moderate pedal assist, the battery will last about five hours, providing a range of up to 45 - 65 miles, depending on model rented, with our Rad Power Bikes.. More pedal assist gives greater range. You can always pedal with no electric power if needed ( easily done on our flat terrain). Rider weight also affects range. Battery chargers are provided for weekly rentals.

  • Yes, we sell our rental e-bikes at the end of the season. The Bike Barn Company shop sells these bikes, and offers e-bike servicing. From time to time during the. season we have special sales. Contact us or stop by the shop. As a RAD POWER BIKE partner we can offer information and a special discount if you order on line.

  • Yes, weekly rentals include FREE delivery. For all other rentals, shop is conveniently located at THE BIKE BARN - 1312 Wrightsville Blvd, Kill Devil Hills, NC 27948. You can conveniently rent and ride from the Bike Barn including the Beach Road and popular Nags Head Woods Road.

  • Yes, we provide a helmet and a small carry bag. For weekly rentals we provide a charger. We also have child seats available to rent.

    The Bike Barn shop offers an assortment of accessories and equipment for pedal and electric bikes.
